About

                                                       Welcome to my shop!

I am a quilt pattern writer and fabric designer living in Phoenix, AZ. I began quilting in 2001 while expecting my second baby, and those first quilts were far from perfect. Luckily, my little ones loved them anyway, and they still have them today. After a few fabric mishaps, I decided it was time to take a beginner quilting class at my local quilt shop. I will always be grateful to the women there for their patience, encouragement, and knowledge. Over the years, I have made countless quilts, from store-bought patterns to my own designs, and I have come to love the entire process.

In 2015, I opened my longarm quilting business called Quilt Mama. I made many wonderful friends and enjoyed serving my clients. Over time, however, I realized I was not making enough time for my own creative projects, and the business began to feel less joyful. In 2021, after COVID, a client offered to buy the business, and I happily accepted. Since then, I have focused on creating beginner-friendly quilt patterns and original fabric designs, which are currently available in my Spoonflower shop. I am also exploring new ways to make my fabrics available directly through my website, so stay tuned for what is coming next.
