                                                       Welcome to my site!  

       I am a quilt pattern writer and surface pattern designer living in Phoenix, AZ.  I began quilting in 2001 when I was expecting my second baby, and boy were those first quilts terrible!  I did not know what I was doing, but luckily my little kiddos had no idea the quilts were less than perfect.  They have loved them and still have them.  After wasting a little too much fabric, I decided it was time to take a beginner quilting class at my local quilt shop.  I will always be grateful to the women in that shop for their patience and knowledge.  Over the years I've made so many quilts, from store bought to my own designs and love the process.   

    In 2015 I opened my longarm quilting business called "Quilt Mama".  I made so many great friends and loved serving my clients.  The problem was, I wasn't making time for making my own quilts and I was becoming a little resentful of my business.  In 2021 after COVID, I had an offer from a client to buy my business, and I jumped at the chance.  I have since turned my attention to creating beginner friendly quilt patterns and fabrics which are currently sold in my Spoonflower shop.  I'm hoping to find a different way of producing my fabrics to make them available on my website, so stay tuned!
